Latest: News 18 has talked to Jayme’s aunt Jennifer Smith who says her family is relieved Jayme has been found. Smith said she is hopeful she will get to see Jayme yet Thursday night.
NEW INFORMATION: The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office confirms Closs was found alive in the Town of Gordon in Douglas County at 4:43 p.m. and a suspect was taken into custody at 4:54 p.m., also in the Town of Gordon.
Gordon is about 45 minutes south of Superior.
Barron County (WQOW) – Jayme Closs has been found alive, according to Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald.
A suspect is also in custody in regards to the case.
Closs was found in Douglas County, that’s in northern Wisconsin.
The sheriff said there are few other details available.
There will be a press conference at 10 a.m. Friday. News 18 will be there and have it live on WQOW.com.
It was nearly three months ago (October 15) Closs went missing and her parents were found murdered in their rural Barron home.

We also want to thank all the Law Enforcement agencies across the state and county that have assisted us in this case. We also could not have endured this case without the support of the public and I want to thank them for all the support and help.
Finally we want to especially thank the family for their support and patience while this case was ongoing. We promised to bring Jayme home and tonight we get to fulfill that promise. From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!”
