Eau Claire (WQOW)- If you’re interested in shaping the future of Eau Claire, you can participate in a survey about potential changes in the community.
Vicki Hoehn is on the board of Clear Vision Eau Claire, which addresses issues in the city. She said ten years ago, the nonprofit brought together more than 200 citizens to discuss what 2020 should look like.
Now they’re doing it again, imagining 2030 in Eau Claire.
Organizers hope to get local people to take a three question survey about how successful the community has been making progress in different areas, like transportation and diversity.
She said when they started the program, they held 10 in-person sessions but it was difficult for everyone to be there — so they switched things up.
“So we’ll have four sessions starting in January,” Hoehn said. “January, February, March and April where people can come together and talk. Vet out what is going on in our community but lets get it started, lets jump start it with a survey.”
Hoehn said the first session is January 31st at the Pablo center.
