Much needed sunshine ahead

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

After a muggy and unsettled start to the week, improvements are on the way for Wednesday. Any lingering showers will be out of the Chippewa Valley by mid morning and conditions will continue to improve as the day progresses. The morning will start cloudy, but by mid day we will see some sunshine and partly cloudy skies. Cloud cover will continue to decrease as the day goes on.

Today will also be noticeably less humid than the past few days. Dew points will be in the 50s today compared to the mid to upper 60s earlier this week. Even though sunshine will be increasing throughout the day, temperatures will still be cooler than average for mid August with highs in the mid 70s.

The clear, calm, and comfortable weather will continue overnight and will lead to areas of patchy fog overnight through Thursday morning. Thursday will be another beautiful day with low humidity and lots of sunshine.

A more summer-like feel will return for the end of the week through the weekend. Humidity will start to increase again on Friday and there will be a chance of thunderstorms from Friday through the weekend.
