Outlook: Active weather ahead with increasing humidity

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible in the northern third of Wisconsin late Tuesday. Some of the activity could affect west central Wisconsin.

The weather will be pleasant on Tuesday! The sky will be mostly sunny, highs will be in the lower 80s, and it will not be humid. The breeze will be strong at times from the west, ranging from 10 to 25 mph. Gusts up to 35 mph are possible.

Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible on Tuesday evening, as an upper-level wave moves over the Midwest. The best chance for rain is near and north of highway 64. Overnight, the sky will be mostly clear with lows in the 50s. Wednesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the middle 80s.

Showers and thunderstorms are possible in our region on Thursday and part of Friday with a warm front slowly lifting through the Midwest. In addition, dewpoints will increase, making the air feel more humid. Friday will be mostly sunny, very warm and humid with highs near 90 degrees.

Some rain cannot be ruled out this weekend, but it will most likely be isolated. Plan on a mostly sunny sky on Saturday and Sunday. Highs in our region will range from 88 to 93 degrees, and lows will be around 70 degrees. With the higher humidity, heat indices on Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon will be in the middle to upper 90s. If you do not do well with heat, take breaks and plan your outside activities in the morning or evening.
