Jess Langlois

Jess Langlois is the weekend meteorologist and weekday multi-media journalist for News 18. She joined us in July of 2019.

Jess is a New England native who was born and raised in southern New Hampshire. She is excited to be working here in Wisconsin where she can still enjoy a variety of weather during all four seasons of the year.

Jess earned her degree in atmospheric sciences from Northern Vermont University – Lyndon (formerly known as Lyndon State College) and previously interned at WCVB-TV in Boston, MA.

While at Lyndon, Jess served on the executive board of their American Meteorological Society Chapter and helped run the Northeastern Storm Conference during her last two years there.

In addition to being a lifelong weather nerd, Jess loves theater (especially musical theater) and was happy to discover the thriving arts culture in Eau Claire.

She is a self-proclaimed tree hugger who enjoys nature photography and spending time by the water.

When she is not tracking the weather, you will most likely find her singing, dancing, or trying out new recipes.
