Special Weather Statement issued August 6 at 11:47PM EDT by NWS Northern Indiana

At 1147 PM EDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from 7 miles southeast of Geneva to near
Portland to near Matthews. Movement was southeast at 20 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include…
Portland, Dunkirk, Redkey, Pennville, Westchester, Center, Bryant,
Salamonia, Trinity, Brice, Mill Grove, Como, Bellfountain, College
Corner, Boundary City, Liber, Blaine, Collett, Bluff Point and
Powers.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
