Special Weather Statement issued August 3 at 2:29AM CDT by NWS La Crosse WI

Fog has once again developed across portions of the area, mainly
in parts of central and north-central Wisconsin and in the river
valleys east and west of the Mississippi River. Visibilities were
already less than 1/2 miles in parts of north-central Wisconsin
and in the the lower Wisconsin River valley.

If traveling early this morning, be prepared for fog that could
suddenly reduce visibilities to 1/2 mile or less, especially in
river valleys and low laying areas. Be more cautious at night when
darkness makes it even harder to see in the fog.

The fog is expected to persist through 7 am. Slow down and allow
extra time to reach your destination.
