EC North’s Stange commits to play hockey for Badgers

Eau Claire (WQOW) — Eau Claire North’s Sam Stange is entering his senior year, but already has his college plans locked up.

On Friday, Stange announced via Twitter that he will has committed to playing hockey for the University of Wisconsin men’s hockey team.

As a junior, Stange was a first team all-state selection. He led the Huskies with 63 points and 39 goals — breaking the program’s single season record. In his three year career at Eau Claire North, Stange has 54 goals and 65 assists.
