Osseo (WQOW) – The Osseo Merchants defeated the Tilden Tigers on Saturday, and became the Chippewa River Baseball League champs for the third consecutive year. The Merchants got on the board in the first when Jaxon Kostka’s single scored Jesse Brockman . The Tigers were quick to answer in the second though, and Luke Schemenauer base hit tied it up. Tilden then added two more in the third for a 3-1 lead. In the bottom Osseo got rolling, starting with Nolan Matson’s 2-RBI single. The Merchants scored six runs in the third and went on to win it 12-6.
