Memorial’s Crawford picks up an offer from Wisconsin in football

Eau Claire (WQOW) — Eau Claire Memorial junior running back Loyal Crawford tweeted out Tuesday afternoon, that he has picked up an offer from Wisconsin.

Crawford missed the final five games of 2018, after suffering a broken collarbone against Chippewa Falls in week 5. The junior still rushed for 689 yards and eight touchdowns on the season, and is expected to be a big piece of the Old Abes’ offensive attack in 2019.

High School football practices begin on Tuesday, August 6. The News 18 “Countdown to Kick-off” Special will air on Wednesday, August 21 at 6:30 p.m.
