Augusta (WQOW) — The Augusta baseball team’s season came to an end Wednesday afternoon in the regional championship at home, with a 14-4 loss in six innings to Bangor.

The game was scoreless after the first two innings, but the Cardinals used a 10-run third to build a lead and hold off the Beavers. Augusta finishes the season 16-3 overall, after winning their first conference title since 1956.
