Stout’s Miller, Graham earn weekly WIAC football honors

Menomonie (WQOW) — Two players from UW-Stout football earned the WIAC athletes of the week, as junior running back Rayshawn Graham, and sophomore linebacker Haydon Miller were named the offensive and defensive players.

Graham carried the ball 20 times Saturday in the 49-24 win over California Lutheran, rushing for 172 yards and a pair of touchdowns. That included a 65-yard run in the second quarter to help the Blue Devils get to 2-1 this season. Miller made eight tackles and recorded one interception and one pass break-up to lead the Stout defense.

The Blue Devils will host UW-Eau Claire Saturday in the “War on I-94” rivalry. Kick-off is scheduled for 6:05 P.M.
