Eau Claire American Legion stays alive at Great Lakes Regional

Napoleon, Ohio (WQOW) — One day after being blanked on just three hits by Midland (MI), the Eau Claire offense breaks out on a big way, banging out 14 hits in a 12-4 win to eliminate Circleville (OH) from the Great Lakes Regional.

Jaxon Kostka drove in four runs by going 3-4 at the plate.   Teammate Cooper Kapanke also went 3-4, and had three RBI.   Ryan Venne and Ethan Kjellberg each chipped in with two RBI apiece.

Eau Claire will play either Terre Haute (IN), Friday, at 3:00 P.M., central time.  The loser of that game will be knocked out of the tourney.
