Scott DeRusha resigns as EC Memorial Girls Soccer head coach

(Eau Claire Memorial press release — June 12th) — Coach Scott DeRusha has announced his resignation from the Memorial Girls Soccer program.

During his five-year tenure at Memorial, Coach DeRusha compiled a record of 99 wins, 17 losses, and 5 ties. The Old Abes were Big Rivers Conference Champions all five years under Coach DeRusha. But the success did not stop there. He coaches his teams to three Sectional Championship games in 2016, 2017, and 2018. He also punched one of those teams to state appearance which was in 2016.

We thanks Coach DeRusha for his efforts, commitment, and dedication to Memorial Girls Soccer. His success as a coach does not go unnoticed and he will be missed. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.

Memorial will now begin the search for a new Head Girls Soccer Coach for the 2018-19 school year.
