UW-Eau Claire Names Athletics Director Finalists

Eau Claire (Press Release) — Four finalists have been named in the search for a new director of athletics at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. A search is underway following notification in February by current Director of Athletics Scott Kilgallon that he will retire June 30.

The four finalists are as follows:

Robin K. Baker, assistant director of athletics and assistant softball coach at UW-Eau Claire.

Rick A. Goeb, former director of athletics at Bemidjii State University in Bemidjii, Minnesota.

Charles J. Gross, associate athletics director at UW-Milwaukee.

Daniel J. Schumacher, director of intercollegiate athletics at Chicago State University in Chicago.

Each finalist will be interviewed and speak during an open forum on campus May 5-14. A schedule of their open forum dates and times is available on the UW-Eau Claire employment website.
