WR Danny Davis set to return for No. 6 Wisconsin vs. BYU

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Receiver Danny Davis is expected to play on Saturday for No. 6 Wisconsin against BYU after the sophomore completed his two-game suspension.

Badgers’ coach Paul Chryst says Davis has been cleared to play.

Prosecutors charged junior receiver Quintez Cephus last month with second- and third-degree sexual assault, which are both felonies. Cephus, who was suspended indefinitely after charges were filed, has denied any wrongdoing. Davis was Cephus’ roommate, and police say he was at the apartment at the time of the alleged assaults.

Davis caught 26 passes for 418 yards and five touchdowns last year.
