18-year-old arrested for allegedly smoking marijuana before driving with baby in car

Eau Claire (WQOW) – An 18-year-old, Kihley Hope Schreurs from Eau Claire, was arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post for driving under the influence.

According to a release from the department, Schreurs was stopped around 4 a.m. on Sunday for having an expired vehicle registration.

The state trooper smelled marijuana, which Schreurs reportedly admitted to smoking before she was pulled over. There was a one month old baby in the car.

She’s being charged with OWI drugged driving with a minor in the vehicle. This was Schreurs’ first offense.
