Sex offender will live in Menomonie

Menomonie (WQOW) – A man convicted of sexual assault of a child more than 20 years ago will now call Menomonie home.

According to the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office, James Bever, 60, will be released on August 13 and will live at 932 Broadway Street North, Unit 19, in Menomonie.

Bever was convicted of 1st degree sexual assault of a child and sexual exploitation of a child in 1998.

Bever will be on supervision, have GPS monitoring and register as a sex offender for life.
