Eau Claire County man faces 207+ years for allegedly sexually assaulting 2 young girls

Eau Claire County (WQOW) – An Eau Claire County man faces more than 207 years in prison after two girls say he sexually assaulted them when they were between five and 10 years old.

Dustin Titera is charged with two counts of repeated sexual assault of a child, two counts of child enticement, two counts of causing a child less than 13 to view/listen to sexual activity and a count of causing mental harm to a child.

According to the criminal complaint, the two victims told authorities they lived next door to each other and Titera.

They said when they were five or six years old Titera would touch himself in front of them while they watched cartoons and make them touch him inappropriately too. They said this happened for several years.

One of the girls said she just wants to be a normal kid but she cannot because of the traumatizing things that have happened to her. She said she has high anxiety and has missed a lot of classes because of the anxiety. She added she did not want to live because she is so depressed.

The other victim said Titera would touch them inappropriately but they were afraid to tell their parents.

Titera is due back in court on August 20.
