Water Street laundromat fire cause remains unknown

Eau Claire (WQOW) – Fire officials in Eau Claire say they still do not know what caused a fire at a downtown laundromat and they probably never will.

A fire at the Eau Claire Quick Clean Center last Saturday caused $125,000 in damage.

Friday, Deputy Chief Allyn Bertrang told News 18 the cause is undetermined, which means they do not know what caused it.

Bertrang said while the case is still open the fire department is no longer investigating the cause.
