Jordan Fricke found guilty in killing of Milwaukee Officer Matthew Rittner

MILWAUKEE (WQOW)– The man accused of killing a Milwaukee officer earlier in the year has been found guilty.

Jordan Fricke was found guilty in the murder of Milwaukee Police Officer Matthew Rittner.

He was found guilty of first degree intentional homicide. He was also found guilty on the charges first degree recklessly endangering safety and maintaining a drug trafficking place.

Fricke became emotional and put his head down on the table as the guilty verdicts were read.

Fricke testified Friday saying he acted in self defense and believed he was being robbed.

A sentencing date will be set later.
