Chippewa County (WQOW) – An Eau Claire man already serving time for his role in an armed robbery and several burglaries has reached a deal with Chippewa County prosecutors in connection to a cell phone store burglary.

Tuesday, Davy Cole pleaded no contest to a count of burglary for his role in a break-in at the Verizon store in Lake Hallie.

Judge James Isaacson sentenced him to two years in jail followed by two years of extended supervision.

That time will be added to the four years in jail for his role in a string of cell phone burglaries in Eau Claire County.

Cole also faces an additional 50 years in prison after pleading no contest to two counts of possessing child porn in Eau Claire County Court in April.

A sentencing hearing in that case is scheduled for September.
