Eau Claire County (WQOW) – A homeless man accused of downloading child pornography using Eau Claire’s public Wi-Fi has reached a plea deal with prosecutors.

In August of last year, Google notified authorities about five downloaded images linked to Bradley Stevens’ account.

Police say Stevens was known to use the public Wi-Fi at the Eau Claire library and Phoenix Park.

When he was arrested, officers say they found roughly 55 images of child porn on his mobile devices.

Wednesday, he pleaded no contest to one count of possessing child porn and a count of meth possession.

Judge Jon Theisen sentenced Stevens to three years in jail followed by three years of extended supervision.

He must also register as as sex offender for 15 years after serving his sentence.
