Prison time ordered for Osseo man in child abuse case

Trempealeau County (WQOW) — An Osseo father will spend time behind bars after he severely hurt his infant child.

Mitchel Feyen pleaded no contest to a count of Child Abuse-Recklessly Causing Great Harm in April.

Police said the seven-month-old had multiple injuries, including a possible brain hemorrhage when it was taken to the hospital in Osseo on December 3. The child was later flown to a Rochester hospital.

Feyen was sentenced to five years in a state prison followed by four years of extended supervision on Friday.
