Probation ordered for man who stole Jayme Closs’ clothes while she was missing

Barron County (WQOW) – The man accused of breaking into the Closs home and stealing some of 13-year-old Jayme’s clothes while she was missing has been sentenced.

Kyle Jaenke-Annis, 33, was spotted on a motion-activated camera set up by investigators.

Police found he had Jayme’s clothes.

In May, Jaenke-Annis pleaded guilty to misdemeanor theft, which was reduced from felony burglary as part of a plea deal.

Wednesday, Judge Maureen Boyle sentenced Jaenke-Annis to two years of probation. He must also undergo a psychological evaluation and get any counseling the court finds necessary..
