Chippewa Falls (WQOW) – The public library in Chippewa Falls received a grant from Mayo Health System and is now putting that money towards emphasizing being active during the summer as well engaging in the community.

Riverfront Yard Games is the library’s latest addition to community outreach. Every Tuesday from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. the library will have staff and games at Riverfront Park.

“Just the scope of libraries in general have changed to be more interactive in the community and this is exactly what that goal is,” said Joe Niese, library director.

Game included but not restricted too: A big outside connect four, bigger blocked Jenga, and bag toss.
