WISCONSIN DELLS (WKOW) — Crews will be back on the Wisconsin River, north of Wisconsin Dells Wednesday morning searching for a child who slipped under the water Tuesday.

Authorities said they were called to the scene, in an area called The Narrows, just before 6 p.m.

The search was suspended before 10 p.m. Tuesday, but police said they planned to go back on Wednesday. More details are expected to be released at 8 a.m.

Not a lot of information about the child has been released at this point. We do know she is from that area.

This is a developing story.
