Eau Claire (WQOW) – According to an employee at the Target location in Eau Claire, the checkout lines are back up and running as of 4:00 p.m.
(WISN) – A major system outage is affecting Target stores across the country, according to social media reports.
Customers said the registers had stopped functioning, leaving shoppers unable to pay for their items. Employees are telling customers the outage is affecting payment and inventory systems.
“We are aware of a systems issue in store and are working as quickly as possible to get this fixed,” the @AskTarget Twitter account said. “Thank you for your patience!”
