Dunn County (WQOW) – An investigation by the West Central Drug Task Force led to charges against a Chippewa Falls man.

Last week, the task force was running surveillance on Christopher Ursery at a motel in Menomonie.

Officers were able to see him using meth inside the room through an open door and moved in to make the arrest. Police found 126 grams of meth as well as several ecstasy pills and drug paraphernalia.

Ursery said he was selling the drugs to pay for hotel rooms while he absconded from the Eau Claire County Jail.

He’s now charged with two counts of felony drug possession with intent to sell. He returns to court on Friday.
