Wisconsin (WQOW) – The latest jobs report shows Wisconsin’s unemployment has matched a record low in the state.

Unemployment dropped to 2.8 percent in April. That is down slightly from March and matches the record low set in April of last year.

However, the Department of Workforce Development reports that Wisconsin lost more than 5,000 jobs from the private sector and construction industry.

It was still up more than 15,000 private sector jobs compared to one year ago.
