Chippewa County (WQOW) – A Cadott woman is charged with 1st degree reckless homicide for allegedly selling the drugs that killed a Chippewa County woman.

Breana Heuer is being held on $5,000 cash bond.

According to the complaint, Carissa Kasmeirski and her boyfriend were smoking meth at a home in the town of Birch Creek in March when she stopped breathing.

The coroner pronounced her dead at the scene. An autopsy confirmed she had taken meth.

Her boyfriend told police the drugs were purchased from Breana Heuer. A Facebook Messenger conversation confirmed Heuer agreed to sell him the meth.

She faces more than 50 years in prison and returns to court in June.

Heuer also faces meth possession charges in on-going cases in Chippewa and Clark Counties.
