Convicted sex offender sentenced in child pornography case

Eau Claire County (WQOW) – A convicted sex offender who lives in Elk Mound has been sentenced in a child pornography case.

Police said they found the porn on Jeremy Deen’s phone and home computer. Deen is a registered sex offender after being convicted of child enticement 2007.

In January, he pleaded no contest to one count of possession of child pornography in exchange for the other four counts being dropped as part of a plea agreement.

Friday, Judge Jon Theisen sentenced Deen to three years behind bars, followed by ten years of extended supervision.
