Eau Claire County (WQOW) – A Whitehall man charged after a road rage incident will spend some time behind bars.

Joseph Taylor is accused of intentionally sideswiping, then ramming, an SUV that passed him on Interstate 94 in December 2017. The other driver said Taylor punched him in the face, and claimed to have a gun.

In January, Taylor was found guilty of four counts, including 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety.

Wednesday, Judge Sarah Harless sentenced Taylor to two months in jail with work release and 18 months of probation.

He’s also ordered not to drink, go to bars or possess any weapons or knives.
