Man who nearly bit off another man’s nostril gets probation

Eau Claire County (WQOW) – A man accused of nearly biting off another man’s nostril during a fight is sentenced to probation as part of a plea deal.

According to the criminal complaint, the victim said Donald Henson had been drinking and appeared to be on meth when the fight began. Henson admitted to biting the man’s nostril, but said it was in self-defense.

Wednesday, Henson pleaded no contest to substantial battery and bail jumping in exchange for all other charges being dismissed.
