Car break-ins, thefts plaguing people in Chippewa and Clark County

(WQOW) – As the temperature rises, so does criminal activity.

Chippewa Falls police say officers have taken multiple calls about vehicles being broken into.

They say criminals are usually looking for easy targets so it is important to lock up your cars and remove your valuables.

Meanwhile, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office said four vehicles have been stolen in the last two days. Three of the four have been recovered.

They are still looking for a 2005 black Chevy Impala with license plate ACZ 6711.
