Chippewa Falls man sentenced after phone store employees found child porn on his phone

Chippewa County (WQOW) — A Chippewa Falls man who had child porn found on his cell phone after he took it in for repairs, has been sentenced.

A store in Lake Hallie contacted police after finding eight videos of children engaged in sexual behavior on the phone of Lucas Lapham. Lapham admitted to police that he downloaded the videos.

Chippewa County Judge James Isaacson sentenced Lapham to two years in a state prison, followed by four years of extended supervision on Friday. Lapham is also ordered to register as a sex offender.
