Trucker allegedly threatens to kill 2 people in Dunn County, tactical team called in

Dunn County (WQOW) – A semi driver from Mississippi is charged in Dunn County after allegedly threatening to shoot and kill two people at a gas station.

William Minyard is charged with disorderly conduct and making terrorist threats.

According to the criminal complaint, two people called 911 on March 29 and said Minyard had threatened to kill them with a .45 caliber handgun.

Police tried to get his attention in his semi-trailer for more than an hour and tactical teams were called in to secure the area.

Police eventually broke his windshield and Minyard was arrested. Police said he smelled strongly of alcohol.

Minyard returns to court in May.
