2 vehicles stolen in Barron, police looking for SUV and suspect

UPDATE: Barron County Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald said Miller was last spotted in Prairie Farm on Wednesday when they say he stole gas from a convenience store.

They say he was driving the stolen Chevy Equinox at the time and wearing a gray Packers hooded sweatshirt.

Police say he is a known meth user.


Barron County (WQOW) – Two vehicles were stolen in the city of Barron on Wednesday and police are still looking for one of the cars and the man they think stole it.

According to the Barron County Sheriff’s Office, the first vehicle was stolen around 3 p.m. Tuesday. It was found a few hours later burned up near Comstock.

The suspect is Aaron Miller, 37, The sheriff’s office said he was wearing a green camo jacket at the time of the theft.

He is still on the loose.

Shortly after that, a second vehicle was stolen in the Comstock area.

That vehicle is a 2007 silver Chevy Equinox with license plate 779ZSE.

If you see the SUV, or Miller, you are asked to call the Barron County Sheriff’s Department at 715-537-3106, or your local law enforcement.
