Rusk County (WQOW) – A man who went on the run after being accused of sexually assaulting a child in Rusk County was convicted by a jury Wednesday.
Robert Dilysi was arrested in Tennessee in July. The sheriff said he abruptly moved from his home in Ingram after he was accused of sexually assaulting a teenaged babysitter on two different occasions.
Wednesday, a jury found Dilysi guilty on two counts of 2nd degree sexual assault of a child and one count of child enticement-sexual contact.
A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for May 30. He faces a maximum penalty of 105 years in prison.
