Eau Claire (WQOW) – Eau Claire police are looking for a Turkish woman who has called Eau Claire home for the past five years.

According to police, Muzeyyan Ayan, 47, is originally from Turkey but moved to Eau Claire five years ago to live with her daughters.

At the end of February her brother came to the U.S. to help move her back to Turkey. When they got to the airport she refused to board the plane.

She was last seen on surveillance camera at about 8:40 p.m. on February 26 taking the southbound light rail train from the airport toward Mall of America. She has not been seen or heard from since.

Police do not believe she has a working cell phone or cash.

Eau Claire police say they have been working with Minnesota police to try and locate Ayan.

If you have any information you should contact Detective Justin Greuel at 715-271-5450.
