Former Hudson coach found guilty of exposing child to harmful material

St. Croix County (WQOW) – The jury has reached a verdict in the trial of a former Hudson coach accused of sending inappropriate pictures to a player.

Benjamin Schrock coached JV girls soccer at Hudson. A player, 16, told police he sent her two nude pictures.

Schrock told police he is a sleep walker and doesn’t remember some of the things he does.

The jury came back with a verdict Thursday night at 10:30 after hours of deliberation.

The jury was hung up on one count of causing a child to view sexual activity, but did return a guilty verdict for a count of exposing a child to harmful material.

He faces up to 3 1/2 years in prison at his sentencing. A date for that has not been set.
