Chippewa Falls man arrested on drug charges during traffic stop in Arcadia

Trempealeau County (WQOW) – A traffic stop in Trempealeau County led to drug charges against a Chippewa Falls man.

Police said Steven Olson, 28, was stopped on January 4 in Arcadia.

During the traffic stop, a K-9 unit was requested and it alerted officers to drugs in the car.

A search turned up six grams of meth, nine grams of pot and other drug paraphernalia.

Olson now faces a variety of charges including meth possession and bail jumping.

He is due in court in February.
