UPDATE: Missing Altoona veteran found

Altoona (WQOW) – A Green Alert has been issued for a missing Altoona veteran.

According to the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Shaun Wischmann, 36, was last seen on Monday. His family is concerned about his welfare because of comments he made to them on Monday.

He is considered missing and at risk.

Family says he suffers from PTSD from his service overseas. He also suffers from depression.

His family believes he may be traveling to North Dakota and may have a handgun.

Wischmann is six-foot-two-inches tall and 175 pounds. Authorities believe he is in a 2014 Chevy Cruze.

Weather Outlook: Active weather pattern returns, bringing multiple rounds of snow

We’ve had a couple of dustings of snow over the past week, including yesterday, but it’s been a full week now since our last big system. Thankfully, we’ve been able to catch up on clearing the snow, and are close to getting back in the swing of things. Just as we settle down, however, we return back to an active weather pattern that will bring several chances for more accumulating snow over the next couple of weeks.
