Homeless Eau Claire man accused of downloading child porn on public Wi-Fi

Eau Claire (WQOW) – A homeless man is accused of downloading child pornography and using Eau Claire’s public Wi-Fi.

Bradley Stevens is charged with five counts of possessing child porn.

According to the criminal complaint, Google notified authorities about five downloaded images.

Stevens’ Google account was linked to the downloads which all happened using public Wi-Fi.

Police said Stevens was known to use the public Wi-Fi at the Eau Claire Library and Phoenix Park, where he was arrested.

Officers said they found roughly 55 images of child porn on his mobile devices.

Stevens is free on signature bond. He returns to court in January.
