Eau Claire man accused of uploading child porn to Facebook, sexually assaulting 2 young men

Eau Claire (WQOW) – Child pornography charges have been filed against an Eau Claire man accused of uploading an image to Facebook.

The social media site alerted authorities about the images in May.

Tuesday, SWAT teams searched the home of Charles Fedie. He admitted to downloading the picture and said it was possible he shared it on social media.

While police were speaking with him, Fedie confessed to sexually assaulting two young men roughly 30 years ago in Buffalo County.

Child sexual assault charges were also filed there Wednesday, although no court date has been set.

Fedie is being held on a $25,000 cash bond in Eau Claire. He returns to court in that case on December 18.
