Badger football bowl predictions

Madison (WKOW) — Sunday we will know in which bowl game the Wisconsin Badger football team will play.

While nothing is set in stone until then, analysts are predicting the Badgers will end up in one of the following games:

  • Pinstripe Bowl | New York, NY — Thursday, December 27
  • Music City Bowl | Nashville, TN — Friday, December 28
  • Holiday Bowl | San Diego, CA — Monday, December 31
  • Redbox Bowl | Santa Clara, CA — Monday, December 31
  • TaxSlayer Gator Bowl | Jacksonville, FL — Monday, December 31

Thankfully for the 7-5 Wisconsin Badgers, a team’s record is only part of what goes into placing a team in a bowl game.  Other factors considered are how well a team travels and the level of national interest for a team.  Wisconsin does well in both of those categories.

The Badgers are bowl eligible for the 17th season in a row. That is the longest active bowl streak in the Big Ten.

The College Football Bowl Selection airs Sunday at 11:00 a.m. on ESPN.
