You can donate your deer, venison will help feed the hungry

(WQOW) – On average, hunters kill about 200,000 deer during the gun deer season in Wisconsin, but what if you do not want the meat?

Hunters in our area who bag a buck, or a doe, can donate the meat to feed the hungry.

To donate venison, hunters can take the deer for free processing at a state registered processing plant. Then, they will donate the venison directly to area charitable organizations.
