Gun-deer season brings in more than 118,000 deer in WI, up from 2017 harvest

(WQOW) – This weekend marks the end of the gun-deer hunting season.

Sunday is the last day to get out there and snag a buck. Wisconsin’s Department of Natural Resources said hunters took home more than 118,000 deer during opening weekend. That’s up about 13 percent from last year, despite the decline of deer license sales over the past 18 years.
