Eau Claire (WQOW) – Thanksgiving came a few days early for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Greater Chippewa Valley.

Happening on Tuesday night is a Thanksgiving Family Feast for club members and their families.

The meal consists of all the traditional food like turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie.

The annual event is meant to bring the families together to build traditions and spend time together during the holidays.

“The Thanksgiving Family Feast is something we love to do each year,” said Sara Antonson with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Chippewa Valley. “This gives us an opportunity to serve a complete Thanksgiving meal to all of our members and their immediate families. For some this is going to be their Thanksgiving meal.”

Club members also made decorations for the evening, writing what they are thankful for which included their family, friends and food.

Weather Outlook: Gloomy weather returns
