Ladysmith window company closing, 80 people to lose their jobs

Ladysmith (WQOW) – Eighty people are set to lose their jobs in Ladysmith.

According to the Department of Workforce Development, Beechworth Windows is closing its facility on Barnett Road in Ladysmith on January 7, 2019.

The closure is expected to result in the permanent elimination of 80 employees – 22 salaried and 58 hourly employees. The employees are not represented by a union.
